I bought a chambers stove that included two of the three pots that are included in the tripot set. Can anyone help? I would like to get a third to complete the set.

Hi alvajo;
I have the same problem as you do. I have watched e-bay in the past and there are often single triple pots there. One time there was one for sale that said it wasn't an authentic Chambers part (no stamp on the bottom) and the starting bid was $5. I didn't bid because I haven't used my stove much yet and wasn't sure how much I'd use the Thermowell. No one bid on it and now I'm kicking myself for not snapping it up for $5.
If you find 2 for a good price let me know, and I can buy one from you.

There's a triple-pot (just the one section, not the full set) hiding on e-Bay right now:

This ended up selling for a little more than $16. I'm not sure if that's a good deal or not. I quit bidding at $10 because I have tried to use the thermowell yet, and not sure how much I will use it.
Will it matter if I use 2 of the 3 triple pots for cooking or will things be out of whack in the thermowell with 1/3 of it empty?

My kids ruined one of my triple kettles, now all I have left of it is the lid.
I, too, am looking for a third one.
NOTE: You do not have to use all of the kettles in the ThermoWell at the same time - but you can.
You need the cookbook which will tell you how to use the ThermoWell. You can get them from me (they'll get to you on time from now on - promise!), or Sam, or eBay.
ThermoWell cooking is my wife's favorite feature about our CHAMBERS - she LOVES it!
I am looking for a source for NEW kettels and pots for the TheermoWell - preferably in stainless steel - but have not been successful as of yet.

Hey guys,
When I inherited my Chambers it came with 1 of the 3 triple pots and 2 lids. I watched e-bay and bid and won on a set of 2 with lids. I also got my single pot too from Ebay. You guys might have to bid on one and build a set of 3 from there.
Once you try the the pot roast recipe from the Idle Hour cookbook, you will be hooked on the Thermowell!!! Be sure to order a copy of it, it is like a "bible" on how to cook and use all the features of the Chambers along with recipes. You'll also crack up over the period of time this was written, when a womans place was in the kitchen!!
You'll save $$$ using the Chambers as it was intended with the gas turned off!! Your meals will be so delicious and juicy.
Maybe we can have Todd do a recipe exchange on this forum.

I do have both the Idle Hour and Cook with the Gas Off cookbooks. I just haven't used the stove much yet because it's in the house we are moving to in the next couple of weeks. I am looking forward to learning all about Chambers' wonderful features when we finally get moved.
I got these cookbooks on ebay. They are originals. The seller's grandma had a Chambers and she hadn't thought to keep it out of the estate sale. She'd held on to the books for quite a while, then decided to sell them. She also sent me the original letter from Chambers dated Sept. 6th, 1940 saying they were happy to send "with their compliments" the Idle Hour cookbook and Oven Canning chart. Fun stuff.
